About Me

Sasha is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she brings compassion, authenticity, understanding, and kindness to her clinical therapy practice. She focuses on helping her clients feel safe and comforted while exploring their unique concerns in counseling.

Sasha received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of La Verne.  She has worked with a variety of populations and settings including: domestic violence shelters, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Eating Disorders, adolescents, self-harm, abused children, addiction, Anxiety Disorders, chronic illness and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.  Sasha is certified in EMDR Therapy and uses this approach to help individuals reprocess difficult material and move towards healing. Sasha also provides therapy to children, teens, adults, and families.

Sasha has worked extensively in both partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient eating disorder programs where she provided group therapy, individual therapy, experiential treatment, and meal support. Sasha worked as part of a multidisciplinary team providing holistic treatment to individuals with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Binge Eating Disorder.

Helping clients find their voice and identification of their inherent self worth, while moving towards growth and healing is Sasha’s goal as a therapist. She is particularly passionate about influencing body positivity as well as her work and advocacy with individuals who struggle with Eating Disorders. 

In her free time, Sasha enjoys hiking, skiing, going to the beach, and immersing herself in nature. She also likes to decorate, bake, and play with her two kitties.
